Steve has been in the management consulting industry for more than 30 years with a focus on driving value through targeted client business issue resolution and business operations performance improvement. His career started with Cleveland Consulting Associates, which was acquired by CSC, where he was the National Supply Chain practice operating officer before leading the practice. He has led Gartner’s North American Consulting practice, and has held client account roles at Ernst & Young Advisory and the George Group (acquired by Accenture).
Gary has over 25 years of Value & Supply Chain Advisory experience, and has brought business performance value to a large array of clients. Gary’s large company consulting experience has been in both direct client serving and thought leadership roles in consultancies such as Coopers and Lybrand, Cleveland Consulting Associates and CSC. As a senior executive with those firms, he has been the developer and practitioner of the key solution offerings where RRA focuses: Supply Chain Assessment; Value Chain Strategy; Inventory Performance Optimization; Fixed Frequency Scheduling.
Bryan has nearly 20 years of supply chain, operations, and strategy experience with several highly regarded organizations, including Bain & Company, PepsiCo, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, and Goodyear. His work has focused on leveraging analytics to develop insights, deliver sustainable value, and maximize return on investment. Through leadership roles in these organizations, Bryan has been a driving force in several of RRA’s focus areas, including supply chain and network strategy, demand and supply planning, and inventory optimization. He has earned an MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg), a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
Steve is an RRA affiliate, working with the firm almost since its inception, has more than 25 years of supply chain consulting experience with a focus on being a client’s most trusted advisor and bringing value by combining functional area knowledge, IT experience and ability to drive change. As a Senior Partner for CSC, Steve led a Supply Chain Operations & Execution practice and a number of significant client accounts. Steve’s experience in global distribution network design, operations and implementation has led him across the globe, and now enables him to bring unique viewpoints to his clients.
Dave has more than 30 years experience in corporate and consulting leadership roles. Having served in multiple business and IT capacities, Dave’s unique value is in helping clients identify, justify and deploy the right combination of process, organization and technology assets to transform their customer experience, operational performance, and financial results. He is a highly effective executive coach, facilitator, and program leader, with a pragmatic approach to accelerating the delivery of tangible business outcomes. Dave has worked for industry leaders such as Cleveland Consulting, Philips, Kimberly-Clark, DXC, Avanade and TCS. Dave has a BS in Industrial Management and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Indiana University.
James joined RRA in 2019 after graduating from Ohio University (OU) with an MBA. Prior to attending OU, James attended The Ohio State University (OSU), where he received a degree in Industrial Engineering. Between his education efforts, he was a Supply Chain Analyst in a manufacturing setting. He also has experience as an analyst for a robotics start-up in Germany. James joins RRA’s analysis, data modeling & data visualization team as a Senior Analyst in supporting efforts across RRA’s client portfolio.
Brian joined RRA in 2018 after graduating from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business with a degree in Supply Chain Operations Management. Since joining the firm, Brian has gained experience working with clients in both commercial industry and the government. His work has been focused on leveraging analytics to deliver business insights through data modeling & dashboarding, value stream mapping, ETL optimization, and data cleansing/validation.
Michael joined RRA in early 2020 after gaining several years of Inventory Management and Supply Chain Planning experience. He is a 2015 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, with a degree in Operations Management. Michael has worked within several global manufacturing and distribution supply chains across various roles, with a focus on process improvement and optimization. Utilizing his industry experiences, Michael brings additional capability and capacity to RRA’s client base.
Joe joined RRA in 2018 after graduating with a BS in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Dayton. Joe has supported a number of RRA clients across a variety of analytics-based initiatives that have improved transactional processes, inventory productivity, and distribution efficiency. In early 2020, leveraging his data cleansing, validation, modeling and visualization experience using the Microsoft stack, Joe has taken on the Demand & Supply Planner role in RRA’s new Operational Performance managed services offering.
Michael Klaus, an RRA affiliate, is President and Founder of Performance Pathfinders LLC a business and technology consulting firm focused on driving business performance through the adoption of emerging technologies and process improvement initiatives.
Klaus has deep expertise in value chain innovation with a proven track record in leveraging technology to enable profitable business growth for clients. He is a published author and sought-after speaker. He holds a degree in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from Michigan State University and is a board member of the University’s Broad Business School. He also has certifications from Harvard in Management of Professional Services firms and Change Management.
Mike, an affiliate of RRA, has a consulting career that spans finance, advanced costing, BI, complexity modeling and operational process excellence from the board room to the manufacturing floor. His 13 year old firm, On Target Performance Group, has worked on projects with RRA covering cost analysis and process improvement and Mike’s time as an advisory colleague goes back to working with Gary and Steve in the 1990’s with Computer Sciences Corporation.
Dr. Jeff Schutt
Jeff is an affiliate of RRA who has been in supply chain consulting for more than 35 years. While he has experience with a broad range of logistics and manufacturing issues, his specialty is quantitative analysis of supply chain networks and manufacturing/distribution planning and scheduling. He is the designer and development manager of multiple software tools for planning and scheduling, both custom and packaged applications. His book Directing the Flow of Product: A Guide to Improving Supply Chain Planning, was well received and led to the formation of his firm Product Flow Planning Associates LLC. Jeff is an alumnus of Cleveland Consulting Associates, Menlo Worldwide’s Professional Services Group, and Computer Science Corporation’s Supply Chain practice. Jeff’s PhD is in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
Louis is an affiliate of RRA with 25 years of business transformation and supply chain consulting experience. With an outstanding track record of helping companies transform their business processes, improve operational efficiency, and exceed metrics targets, he has implemented large complex transformational solutions for some of the most well-known organizations in both the private and public sectors. He has worked from executive level and senior level client leaders to process transaction associates across a number of business processes including procurement, strategic sourcing, demand & supply planning, logistics, supplier relationship management, infrastructure services and cloud services. He has consulted in a number of industries including, consumer products, manufacturing, electronics, automotive, entertainment, and the defense industry.
Shilpa, an RRA affiliate, has more than 12 years of Supply Chain business transformation and operational performance improvement projects, in addition to co-founding a global water and sanitation non-for-profit. She has been highly regarded and award winning across all aspects of her business life, which includes EY, Ecolab and Surge for Water. Shilpa has experience across Supply Chain and Operations, including Profitability, Performance and Productivity Improvement, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Optimization, Network Design, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, and she is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Shilpa has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins and an MBA from Carlson School of Management at University of Minnesota.
Mike, an RRA affiliate, has exceptional credentials in building Vested® relationships between buyers and suppliers, and in the international sourcing, manufacture and importation of product and tooling, especially from China. He is a skilled communicator, and is able to concisely explain complex supply chain concepts in understandable form to audiences ranging from boardroom executives to shop floor personnel. He is also an author and frequent speaker on process assessment, measurement and improvement, as well as relationship-based acquisition and management of services.
